the five cities project took place between 1992 and 1999 in frankfurt, prague, moscow, new york and tokyo. during the course of this eight year process i discovered what most interests me in communication:
- specific qualities of spaces
- ways people become involved with each other
- development of a process in time
my communication projects often take years. they require patience, curiosity and tenacity. the unforeseeable is an inevitable part of the process.
